Poems
Only a few more hills to climb
Only a few more hills to climb,
To cross a few more streams;
Only a few more rhymes to rhyme,
And dream a few more dreams.
Only to greet a few more mates,
To shun a few more foes.
Only a few more doors and gates
To open and to close.
Only a few more losses now:
A few more frowns to frown;
Only a few more crosses now; –
And then, I hope, the crown.
